Baby Joy is going home!

Little Joy has made AWESOME improvements and is doing super well. So well that the doctors feel they can let her go home with her family! This is a huge praise!!! This little one still has more healing ahead so if you think of it, prayer is still a big part of that healing process for the whole family.

Yeah for good news!

Baby Joy

For those friends that check my blog, I'm putting out a prayer request for a family here in Newberg. Their daughter Joy is 3 months old and had open heart surgery last week for a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. She is at Doernbecher Children's Hospital which provides great care but her journey has been a struggle and prayer is very needed. While some healing has begun, her little body is still struggling with elevated blood pressure and obvious pain.

It is hard to have a little one connected to tubes and machines. It is difficult to see morphine drips and stitches. There is an acute feeling of helplessness when your little one is in pain and you are unable to alleviate it.

While I don't know this family personally, they've been on my heart. If you could take a few minutes to lift them up to Jesus--baby Joy, her mom Miriam, her dad Damon, and big brother Isaiah--they need it.

Blustery Days

Just a few pictures from the last week--
flying a Buzz Lightyear kite with Quinn and then some recent photos of Sela and Quinn.
They are too cute!
