Handson Pierre....Haiti

Handson is a young man that we've been supporting through Compassion and Handson and his family live on the plains of Poste Metier which is close to Port-de-Paix (northern Haiti). Compassion has been working to determine what has happened to the many children connected to the child development centers Compassion oversees in Haiti. We still haven't heard what impact the earthquake had on Handson and his family...we're still waiting.

Compassion in Haiti

Compassion's work in Haiti began in 1968. Currently, more than 62,900 children participate in more than 225 child development centers. Compassion partners with churches to help them provide Haitian children with the opportunity to rise above their circumstances and become all God has created them to be.
